My Green Beginning: Why I Write About the Environment

Why I Choose to Write About the Environment

When I first thought about starting a blog, I asked myself: What truly matters to me? The answer came quietly but firmly—the environment.

I didn’t grow up in a forest or near the sea. I grew up in a small town surrounded by factories and rice fields. I saw the sky turn gray during the dry season, smelled the smoke of burning waste, and watched the rivers change color. For many people, this was normal. But for me, it raised questions.

Over the years, I began to read, observe, and reflect more deeply. I realized that environmental problems are not distant—they are around us, affecting our air, food, and future. And the more I learned, the more I wanted to speak up.

This blog is my small voice in a big world. I write because I believe that change begins with awareness. I write because environmental issues are often overlooked in daily life, especially in places where economic growth comes first. I write because I care—and I hope others will too.

I may not be a scientist (yet), but I believe that stories can be powerful tools. Through this blog, I want to explore environmental topics with honesty, curiosity, and a personal touch. Whether it’s about waste, energy, biodiversity, or daily habits—I want to learn, share, and grow with you.

Thank you for being here.

Let’s walk this green path together.
